Cheese Idli Recipe – Stuffed Cheese Idli
Cheese Idli recipe is a south indian recipe stuffed and topped with the lots of cheese.This is easy recipe and kids will definitely like it.You can make quickly with the leftover Idlis also, when your kids ask for snacks.

1/2 cup cheese, grated
handful coriander leaves,(finely chopped)
1/2 tsp. red chili powder (optional)
oil to grease
In a bowl, combine together cheese, coriander leaves & red chili powder.Make small round flat balls and keep aside.
Pour little of the batter in the greased idli moulds.Cover with some more batter. Steam for 12-15 minutes. after cool, demould them.Serve them with coconut chutney and sambar.
Grease idli mould with oil. Then place each ball of cheese in the center. Now add a tablespoon of batter again on top. Make sure that everything is totally covered.Pour idli batter in the holes. Place in a steamer, and cook for 15-20 minutes. Remove from heat. Leave to cool down slightly. Open steamer, and remove idli from the moulds. Repeat with the rest of the batter.
Using rice cooker:
Grease idli mould with oil.Then place each ball of cheese in the center. Now add a tablespoon of batter again on top. Make sure that everything is totally covered. Pour idli batter in the holes.Pour some water(approximately 2 cups) in rice cooker squeeze 2 to 3 drops of lime juice.Place the idli moulds in rice cooker,Cook for 20 minutes and remove outside,serve hot with chutney.
Apply oil on the microwave idli container and Then place each ball of cheese in the center. Now add a tablespoon of batter again on top. Make sure that everything is totally covered.pour idli batter into the moulds.Set the microwave for 3 minutes on medium power.When the idlis are prepared, with a help of a knife/Spoon,remove them from the microwave idli container and transfer in a serving bowl,serve hot with chutney.

- Blanch the spinach leaves in boiling water for two to three minutes, puree them leaving aside a few for shredding. Refresh under cold water. Add the spinach puree to the idli batter and mix well,Make Idles.
